Russell J. "Jack" McCann graduated from Birmingham Southern College in May, 1987, with a Bachelors in Biology. After obtaining a Master’s Degree and doing medical research for several years he became involved as a sales rep in a young pharmaceutical company. He moved from pharmaceuticals to financial services and worked with professionals and business owners. He realized he wanted to offer more to his clients and decided to attend law school. Jack graduated from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in May 1997. After becoming a partner at Sidwell & Barrett, he joined forces with Scott Hubbard and formed McCann & Hubbard on October 1, 2003. Keith H. Solomon joined the firm January 1, 2009, and it is now known as McCann, Hubbard & Solomon.

Jack McCann is married and has five children (three boys and two girls); he is involved in a variety of ministries, non-profits, several churches and community programs. He sits on the Boards of Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County and Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency, and is active with the Boy Scouts of America. Jack loves sports and his favorite time is with his children and the outdoors.
